Support and Help

Receiving a lung cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming and life-altering. Gradually, and often with the support of other patients and trained peers, the illness settles into a kind of framework and slowly becomes a part of one's life.

There are others like us—you are not alone. There may be more treatment options than what you initially thought. Connecting with others who share similar experiences can provide strength, information, and hope. Pulmones plans to establish a guided online peer support group and already connects patients through it Finnish-language Facebook group.
